Safe at Home
Text message program

You'll know
she's okay

Safe at Home texts you when the person you care for checks in — and tells you straight away when they don't. Here is exactly what we send, how you agree to it, and how to stop.

01 — Who we text

Only the caregiver who created the account, at the mobile number that caregiver entered and verified themselves. We never text a number its owner has not personally entered and confirmed, and we never text the person being checked on.

02 — What we send

Four messages. Nothing else.

No marketing, no promotions, no third-party content — ever.

01
On request
Safe at Home: your code is 123456. Expires in 5 minutes.
02
Immediate
Safe at Home: Mom indicated they are not okay. Reply STOP to opt out.
03
Immediate
Safe at Home: Mom missed their check-in / did not respond. Reply STOP to opt out.
04
Once daily
Safe at Home: Mom checked in okay today. Reply STOP to opt out.

Roughly one message per day for each person you care for, plus a code whenever you sign in. Alerts arrive only when a check-in actually needs you, so the number varies. Message and data rates may apply.

03 — Your consent

Off unless you switch it on.

Alert texts are optional. When you add someone to your account you'll see this step, with the box empty:

The consent step, shown for reference

Safe at Home works without text alerts. Leave the box empty and the daily check-in still runs — every result still appears in your dashboard. We simply won't text you about it.

04 — Stopping

One word, any time.

STOP

Reply STOP to any message and we stop texting that number immediately. Reply HELP for assistance. You can also switch alerts off in your dashboard, or call the support line below.

Worth knowing: once alerts are off, you won't be told when a check-in is missed. Your dashboard always shows whether alerts are on, so you're never guessing.

05 — Your information

Your number stays with us.

  • Used only for the sign-in codes and alerts described above.
  • Never sold, rented, or shared with any third party — including your consent itself, and including for marketing.
  • We keep a dated record of your consent, so we can always show when and how you agreed.
  • Ask us to delete your number and that record at any time, using the contact below.
