Text message program

You'll know she's okay before you have to wonder.

Safe at Home sends you a short text when the person you care for checks in — and tells you straight away when they don't. Here is precisely what we send, how you agree to it, and how to stop.

01 — WHAT ARRIVES

Four kinds of message. Nothing else.

No marketing, no offers, no third-party content — ever. This is what a normal week looks like on your phone.

On request

Sign-in code. Sent only when you ask to log in. Never shared, never reused.

Once daily

All-clear summary. A single line confirming the check-in happened.

Immediate

Missed check-in. Nobody answered — sent within minutes so you can act.

Immediate

Needs attention. They answered that they are not okay.

02 — HOW OFTEN

About one message a day.

MORNINGThe check-in 1 message
IF NEEDEDAn alert only on exception
WHEN YOU LOG INSign-in code on request

Roughly one message per day for each person you care for, plus a code whenever you sign in. Alerts arrive only when a check-in actually needs you, so the exact number varies week to week. Message and data rates may apply.

03 — YOUR CONSENT

Off unless you switch it on.

Alerts go only to the caregiver's own mobile number, entered and confirmed by that caregiver. We never text the person being checked on. When you add someone, you'll see this — with the box empty:

Safe at Home works without text alerts. Leave the box empty and the daily check-in still runs — every result still appears in your dashboard. We simply won't text you about it.

04 — STOPPING

One word, any time.

STOP

Reply STOP to any message and we stop texting that number immediately. Reply HELP for assistance. You can also switch alerts off in your dashboard, or call the support line below.

Worth knowing: once alerts are off, you won't be told when a check-in is missed. Your dashboard always shows whether alerts are on, so you're never guessing.

05 — YOUR INFORMATION

Your number stays with us.

  • Used only for the sign-in codes and alerts described above.
  • Never sold, rented, or shared with any third party — including your consent itself, and including for marketing.
  • We keep a dated record of your consent, so we can always show when and how you agreed.
  • Ask us to delete your number and that record at any time, using the contact below.
